Overview
The Less is More Content Contest is a youth-driven social media initiative inviting young people to use their creativity to speak out against gun violence.

Contest Details

Eligibility: Youth ages 10–18 in Jefferson County.

Format: Submit short digital content (video reels, graphics, or social posts) 60 seconds maximum in length.

Entry Period: Jan 1 – Feb 28, 2026 (digital submissions only)

Judging: Mar 1 – Mar 25, 2026 by a panel of community leaders, educators and young people.

Awards: $5,000 in prizes announced at final press conference on Mar 31, 2026, Metro Hall

Purpose
The contest empowers youth to use digital media to raise awareness, inspire change, and promote positive alternatives to Lessen gun violence in their communities.
